Low-friction upload
Use the browser without an account or app. Choose files or drop them into the page to start.
Owned product · File transfer
A free, no-account way to hand files off in a browser. Drop files, keep the tab open until they are ready, then share a link or scan a QR code to continue on another device.
The product brief
SwitchCase Files is for temporary browser-to-browser handoffs—not long-term storage or backup. Choose or drop files to start an upload, keep the tab open until every file is ready, then share the complete link or use its QR code on another device.
The sharing model is intentionally simple: anyone with the complete link can view, add, or delete files in that transfer. Access ends exactly 24 hours after the transfer is created; adding files later does not extend the deadline.

What is live
Straight answers
Yes. SwitchCase Files is an owned product from SwitchCase Studios for temporary browser-based file handoffs.
A transfer can contain up to 100 files, with a maximum of 250 MiB per file and 1 GiB total.
Anyone with the complete shared link can view, add, or delete files. There is no read-only link or identity check, so share the link only with people you intend to have that access. An issued download URL may remain usable for up to one minute, and downloaded copies cannot be recalled.
Access ends exactly 24 hours after the transfer is created; later uploads do not extend it. Automatic stored-file cleanup follows, normally within one minute but sometimes longer. You can delete an individual file or the whole transfer earlier.
No. It is temporary file sharing, not storage or backup; keep your originals. It does not provide end-to-end encryption or malware scanning. Encrypt sensitive files first and share the decryption key separately.
